1. What position are you running for?	Washington State Senate, 25th District (Puyallup, Fife, South Hill, Summit, Waller, Midland, and Parkland)

2. Why do you think Hispanics should know about the position you are running for?	The Washington State Constitution says, “All political power is inherent in the people, and governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed and are established to protect and maintain individual rights.” That means that it’s our job in the legislature to protect and maintain individual rights for all.
3. Why are you running for this position?	My goal is to advance policies that strengthen our communities, not our bureaucracies. Strong communities – with families, churches, small businesses, voluntary associations, and neighborhoods – are capable of loving and caring for people in extraordinary ways. We must find ways to empower our communities.
4. For the Hispanic community, what do you view to be the most important agenda items you will take action on if you get elected?	We must address education funding, homelessness, and government accountability.
5. Any additional message you wish to share with the Hispanic Voter?	I have served in the State House for six years, working on issues like transportation and higher education. I look forward to taking this experience to the State Senate and making a difference for my community over the next four years.

He servido en la Cámara de Representantes del estado por seis años, trabajando en cuestiones como el transporte y la educación superior. Estoy deseando tomar esta experiencia al Senado Estatal haciendo la diferencia para mi comunidad durante los próximos cuatro años.
