1. What position are you running for?	Washington State Representative, 6th District, Position 2

2. Why do you think Hispanics should know about the position you are running for?	Because the state legislature makes decisions that directly impact your community such as: voting rights act; Washington Dream Act; and medicaid and food stamp expansions that include undocumented individuals.
3. Why are you running for this position?	As we face a difficult budget year, Washington residents need lawmakers in Olympia who will fight to protect vital services as we move to fully fund education. This means putting partisan politics aside and working toward compromises that benefit all.
4. For the Hispanic community, what do you view to be the most important agenda items you will take action on if you get elected?	Protecting medical and food benefits for undocumented individuals, supporting the Voting Rights Act, and using an intersectional racial equity lens on all policy analysis. (My opponent voted against the Voting Rights Act)
5. Any additional message you wish to share with the Hispanic Voter?	I have advocated for these policies during the past seven years as a community organizer. I have also joined in solidarity with local members of the Hispanic community and One America on actions calling for comprehensive immigration reform. I will continue in these efforts and support any other policies that remove barriers and build equitable opportunities and outcomes.
5. Tiene algun mensaje especial que desee compartir con los votantes Hispanos?	He defendido estas políticas durante los últimos siete años como organizador comunitario. También he sumado en solidaridad con los miembros locales de la comunidad hispana y latina en acciones para pedir una reforma migratoria integral. Voy a seguir en estos esfuerzos y apoyar cualquier otras política que eliminen las barreras y fomenten la igualdad de oportunidades y resultados.
